Oasis Ministry (Young Adults)

ABOUT THE OASIS MINISTRY

“…Jesus stood and said in a loud voice, ‘If anyone is thirsty, let him come to me and drink’.” (John 7:37)

The Oasis Ministry is a group for young adults who are working or studying at Arizona State University or other Valley colleges. Our ministry is housed out of Tempe Church at 2424 S. Mill Ave, Tempe, AZ 85282, mainly in Apartment 11 of the office complex building. We have an active group of young adults who are seeking to be the face of Jesus to others in our community, nation, and world.

The Oasis Ministry is meant to be a refreshing vista inviting anyone into our community living in Christ. We are wanderers in the wilderness of the world, seeking to find new companions and searching for an oasis of spiritual refreshment through an authentic and passionate relationship with Christ. We value creating an open space for people to seek Jesus by asking questions, expressing doubts, and sharing their stories. Our mission would be spelled out in an acronym of our name:

1)   Outreach to Those Who Thirst in Interpersonal Relationships

2)   Assembling for Fellowship as a Ministry and Church

3)   Spiritual Development on a Personal Level

4)   International Perspective in our Spiritual Thinking

5)   Servant Leadership Model to Accomplish these Goals
